Registration of birth: Procedure that is carried out within the term of one year after birth. The Minor's Card will be requested at the hospital where the act of birth occurs, for this the model prepared by the Civil Status Registry official will be used, where the data referring to the birth is recorded. It will be noted as the official address of the minor and Registry, the one that appears in the identity document of the mother. Failing that (deceased), the parent or legal guardian will be recorded.

Out-of-date birth registration: This procedure is carried out whenever the minor is between the ages of one year and up to 16 years of age, the application can be made at the municipal procedures offices.

Identity procedures for minors can be carried out from any Procedures Office in the country, regardless of place of residence, except for changes of address, which must be formalized at Procedures Offices in the province where the home is located.

Requirements for the Minor's Card procedures:
• Physical presence of the father, mother or legal guardian.
• Minor Card subject to change, except for the reason for Loss.
• Birth certificate for the error correction process.
• 1 photo size 4x5 cm. for the photo update from the age of 12.
• The photo update is optional and will be done from 12 years of age.
• Stamp for the value of 5 pesos national currency for all types of requests.

Duration time:
The delivery of the Minor's Card requested at the hospital must be done before 72 hours after the birth.
The delivery of the Minor's Card requested in the Municipal processing units must be carried out on the same day.
